Replacing Images & Thumbnail only editing

Enable Media Replace plugin (read more) allows you to directly replace an existing image with a new one – instead of the manual process of uploading a fresh image and updating it everywhere. It also supports the option to remove background from the uploaded images.

Edit Image Thumbnails Separately plugin (read more) restores the option to edit the thumbnail version of the image separately or update all sizes except the thumbnail.

BE Media from Production is a utility plugin from Bill Erickson that allows you to use the live website’s media library for the staging or local development version.
